As Hewitt’s presence expands in the global marketplace, we realise that to be successful, we have to be competent in understanding cultural differences. Our leadership is committed to making Hewitt a cross-culturally competent organisation.
Hewitt has a clearly defined strategy to engage our associates so we can embed diversity both internally and externally. Internally, we do this by developing strategic recruiting partnerships with organizations, associations, etc. We use our diverse associates to embed diversity concepts into business offers and develop internal cross-cultural competency. Externally, we do this by embedding diversity concepts into all of Hewitt’s products and services.
The cross-cultural curriculum at Hewitt is designed to cater to all our associates through offerings at all levels of cross-cultural competence. Through a variety of learning programs and initiatives, we provide tools to our associates to help them solve problems, make decisions, and resolve conflicts in ways that optimize cultural differences for better, longer-lasting, and more creative solutions.
