Hewitt has more than 4,000 associates working within a variety of technology roles. Technology associates simplify the way our clients and associates work at Hewitt and across the world.   • Configuration Setup Specialist—Configuration Setup Specialists are responsible for participating in the set up of the technology platform for a client team’s administration system. Associates participate in team status meetings, specification walk-throughs, and test plan walk-throughs. They also help maintain project databases. Responsibilities fall into these primary categories: implementation/setup, executing the test plan, and process review.
  • Software Engineer—Software engineers develop and manage the application code for a system or part of a project, working with multiple platforms and/or services. They build code, and review it to ensure it meets efficiency standards and doesn’t affect the functionality of any existing systems.
  • Test Engineer—Test engineers prepare and execute test cases, conducting quality reviews before the product is delivered to the customer. They troubleshoot unexpected results and retest issues until closure.

Are you a star performer who is energized by client contact and challenging work? You can develop deep relationships and have a huge positive impact when you get involved in large-scale change projects.   • Business Analyst—Individuals in this role are responsible for defining and delivering the product vision, overall scope, and high-level client requirements for a project. Associates in this role own all requirements and manage the analysis, documentation process, and overall requirements-gathering strategy for complex projects.
  • Benefits Ops Administrator—Benefits Ops Administrators (BOAs) are responsible for delivering accurate and timely information to all clients and participants. They use their superior business knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements, with a focus to streamline, automate, and/or standardize processes. They have detailed plan knowledge to analyze and resolve participant/plan administration issues, troubleshoot/resolve workflows/edits, update standard operating procedures, and complete other critical activities, such as manual processes.
